Visiting Us
We're well served by public transport and there is ample metered parking available near Richmond Villa.
By bus - the Millers Point government bus terminus is right outside the Abraham Mott Hall in Argyle Street, just around the corner from Kent Street. The 339 bus runs there from Clovelly runs via Eddy Avenue and stops in George Street close to both Town Hall & Wynyard stations. The 431 and 433 services start at Glebe Point and Balmain and after leaving Broadway travel north along George Street before reaching the Millers Point Bus terminus. Many other bus services set down at Wynyard and from there it is a 10 minute walk to Richmond Villa.
By train - the closest station to Richmond Villa is Wynyard Station. The walk takes about 10 minutes, using the York or Clarence Street exits.
By ferry - from Circular Quay walk through The Rocks and up Argyle Street (through the Argyle Cut) and then Kent Street to reach Richmond Villa. This is a good 15-minute, uphill walk.
By car - ample meter parking is available along Kent Street and in the surrounding area at $2.20 per hour, with a maximum stay of 2 hours on most meters. A few meters at the northern end of Kent Street allow a 4-hour stay. Meter parking operates throughout the Sydney city area and is patrolled from 8am - 10pm seven days per week. Overstayers risk hefty fines! The Clock Tower parking station in Harrington Street, The Rocks is the nearest public car parking station.

Our Hours
Our library and physical bookshop at Level 2,379 Kent Street is normally open between 10:00am and 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Our online shop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Check our main web site for holiday closures.
